On the day that we went to Bald Moutain, we also went to Dodge #4 state park!!! Bald Mountain was pretty, but we were disappointed that the beach area was closed. On my map, Bald Moutain and Dodge #4 are close enough that they share a dot, and it was in the general direction of home, so we did a double park day!!!
William saw a helicopter. = )
See, sitting William is much more natural.
An open beach area!!!!
Billy and William were both in shoes and socks, so I was the only one willing to stick my toes in the water, and it was c-o-l-d!!!
This flower's colorful presence against the browning grass was striking, so I took one more picture before loading up for the drive home.
I doubt I would have done two parks in one day without Billy there, but it was so fun, and really nice to be checking two off in one day! = ) And I think William enjoyed being an only child with the two of us, since he doesn't get that very often.
