In February, both Emily and William had pre-festival concerts. Luckily, they were on different nights, and both bands sounded ready for festival!

I did my best to volunteer for Emily at anything that I volunteered for Alice last year, so I greeted bands as they arrived. This did mean that I didn't get to watch their performances, but since I'd seen them previously, it wasn't super sad.
Their bands both earned twos, and since they are both in their respective first years at their school, hopefully next year will look even better!
Last week was the spaghetti dinner, which mean that I had four children on stage! Since start time was 530, and Billy would be coming straight from work, Alice had to come with me. I was in charge of passing out dinner tickets to the people who ordered online, for the first two hours. Since I was table-bound, I took one before picture, since I didn't know if I would be able to get a picture of them on stage.

The twins were up first. They were playing the concert on the outside speakers, so people eating their spaghetti were able to enjoy all the bands. The sixth graders were joined by the high school wind ensemble for their final song.
Since this was our second time at the spaghetti dinner, as a family, I felt more comfortable. Moreover*, it's looking like I have six more years to look forward to!

*I recently read an article that the word moreover is a tell of AI generated papers, so I was determined to work it into one of my posts this round, and finally found an appropriate place for it!
