Cooking and Crafts: Autumn Edition

We have been busy cooking and crafting this season!

For Emily's color guard banquet, Emily was told to bring a token for each of the guard members.  So, Billy designed and printed these personalized badges for her to pass out.  We had some pins leftover from his Ionetix badges, and they came out super cute!

Billy also printed out a trophy for the Mario Cart Tournament, but only for first place.

Grace assembled some cute Halloween goody bags to pass out to her friends.

Alice has been on a kick, making Halloween themed treats.  One of my favorites that she made were some frightening dipped strawberries!

The twins brought home some spooky suckers from church.

At Emily's robotics tournament, I sat long enough to finish wrapping Grace's Hello Kitty earbuds (which will be a Christmas gift.)

William designed a house in CAD and Billy was able to print it!

Alice's Monster Jello.

Alice's Cracked Eyeball Devilled Eggs:

Alice and Grace had to turn the brownies into Monster brownie bites, because they didn't realize that you had to wait for the brownies to cool fully before cutting them into festive shapes.

This year's Kroger magazine didn't disappoint, and Alice and I made these little donut hole acorns using dipping chocolate, pretzels, and sprinkles!

Grace has gotten in on the festive food trend, and made some witch hats!

Juliet's friend Charlotte came over, and they made these Kroger magazine spider cookies!

While not exact, I thought they came out pretty cute!

On some nights, a sharpie had to create the spooky factor.

These Coraline cookies she made from scratch, and they came out cute!  Sadly, she used one of my metal straws to punch the wholes, instead of a disposable plastic straw, and I as unable to rescue the straw. = /

My car bag started ripping after years of daily use, but I was able to add at least a few years of life by attaching some large heavy-duty patches along the torn area!  It doesn't look great, but I don't have to find a new bag, when I love this one, so I'm calling it a win!

For my mom's meeting I made some Yorkshire puddings, and they came out perfect!  A complimentary beef topping felt too heavy for a brunch, so I made a salmon steak recipe that I found online.  It wasn't bad, but I prefer the beef.

As we head into the Christmas season, I am sure that we will be creating and cooking and crafting regularly, and I'm excited for all the family togetherness that it brings!
