This year, Nikolausstiefel fell on the busiest week of my month! It was a beast of a week, with robotics and concerts and two full days of subbing, with an early Saturday start for robotics! Since Nikolausstiefel fell on the Saturday morning, and I put myself to bed before the kids, I was filling boots at 6am.
Each child got a giant candy cane from Fabiano's, so we took a before picture, since I wouldn't be home when they unpacked their boots in the morning. = (
The kids all enjoy this tradition, and each and every year I'm so glad I don't have to deal with an elf every single day.
